I know I probably don't have the right to tell you this, but I wish you'd just let it go and stop with the rage-posts. D: You've got to remember that while you're an adult, most of those freeloaders are children who have little sense of responsibility when it comes to piracy due to 1) not being mature, and 2) growing up with the 'net, with the expectation that things should naturally be free and available whenever, wherever they want. Not much we can do about that, other than hoping that the government will be able to put the brakes on mass-piracy eventually.

As for Felghana, it's been released on Steam now.

General / Ys Online Europe?
« on: Jul. 18, 2009, 07:14:20 PM »
Open beta started. http://www.ysonline.com/
Anyone gave this a try? I'm kind of tempted, yet reluctant because it might end up taking up a lot of my time. D: And I'm not sure if it's restricted to Europeans or not.

I've been wasting time in MMORPGs. Been playing MapleStory since 2004 or so, but quit that a while ago. I picked up Mabinogi a few months ago, and I think it's a pretty darn cool game. :P

Ahem..it was their idea. (I'm Yoorah there.)

Other than that, I love messing with computers in general, reading about computer hardware, and the like. I used to be into game development, but that hobby got killed off when I started wasting time in MMORPGs. ;_;

Well, at least now you might start getting more hits on your site. If news of this "official release" spreads, anyway.

Your domain registrar sucks, then. xP I'm not sure how others are, but I use Namecheap.com and .net domains can be registered through them for 1~10 years, for $9.69/yr. I've never had any problems with them. I'm not sure how they compare as far as pricing, though.

Hey,

To be quite honest, I never liked the old forum software, anyway. Ikonboard? Ewww. :p

What an interesting day this is. I've found a Canon PowerShot SD100 Digital Elph in a parking lot today. It may be old, but it's still a pretty nice find.

Anyway, good luck with the translation project! :D *lurks*

Those screenshots look pretty. But, it's a Korean-made MMORPG, so you can expect to have to spend hours grinding each day to get to a decent level.

Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys / Re: Sample Screenshots of a New YsIV:DOY Font

I think the new font looks better. As others have said, it looks more "game-like".

Wow, I've read that other thread, and find it quite amazing to what lengths some people will go to try have revenge. (Not really sure if it was revenge they were going for, or perhaps trying to change your decision? lol?)

Nonetheless, when by the time I got to

Ys Origin / Re: Patch for the Ys Origin Setup/Config Utility

Yes, the internet is a horrible thing. D:
I'm browsing this forum instead of working on catching up on the work I missed...

About the graphics card upgrade: I've heard of people having compatibility problems when switching graphics cards from nVidia to ATi, and vice versa. It involves the drivers from one manufacturer not being fully removed, causing a conflict with the newer drivers. I believe there's some utility that will fully get rid of what's left of the partially removed drivers, but I forgot what it was called...

You're right Seldane...

I don't want to have to get laser eye surgery from staring at a tacky forum. Darkness rules heh-heh.
Actually, research shows otherwise... Dark text on light background is much easier on the eyes.

And it's not just that...I just find the current setup, well, ugly... The skin you had when I posted about it on January 15, 2006 was much more elegant. (And it seemed that I was not only one to like that one.)

I think that this skin/theme is horrible. >>;;; There was a lighter coloured one before (after Iknoboard was replaced), and it was much more elegant and easier to read.

Oh, so those are ASCII values, where &# tells the browser to convert it to the character? Cool.

I can't say that I know what the #0000 format is, but it doesn't really matter. I put a nice thingy in my signature that will (hopefully) lure potential bots, and make them flood their own database with fake email addresses. If their database gets screwed up because of this, I won't have to worry about having my e-mail in it.

Hmm...Is there a way to mask e-mail address links under the users' names? E-mail harvester bots are going to have too much fun browsing this forum. :/

...so it DOES exist!

And here I was, thinking that you'd leave us all homeless. This new forums software seems a lot cleaner than the other one. :)
