When Tarf is rescued from the prison Adol can feed him any of the items that effect the degree of impression which includes the Herb, Apple, Roda Tree Nut, Mearl Flower, and Selceta Flower. Additionally, Adol can also feed tarf the bonus foods which are the Meat Loaf, Smoked Meat, Meat of Quality, and the Cruberry Pie. Once Talf levels up he will equip himself with the pebble and will be ready to fight. Initally he sucks at throwing his pebble but as he levels up his throwing gets much better. Tarf can continue to level up by eating food or killing enemies until he maxes out at Level 25. Usually at level 25 Adol can let Tarf fight for him (Lazy Adol!!!).
