(Damn it! Let's revive this forum!)

Falcom Classics Collection seems to be an extremely rare game for the Sega Saturn. It also seems to feature the games from both Falcom classics and Falcom Classics II I think.
Though I never heard about the game...not even in GameFAQs, 'cuz there only says that the game does exist and nothing else.

So, does anyone here got this very rare Falcom Game? (Seldane? xD)...If so, how is it like? Does it have anything exclusive in it?

NOTE: I bought a Sega Saturn just to get this game and then I managed to find where to buy it! (via internet) and I will receive it probally this or the next week...@.@ But I just can't wait!!...So any information is very appreciated! ^^ Thanks

It isn't very rare. You can buy a new copy on Yahoo Japan for about $20! :)

It is nothing special though, since Falcom Classics I got a Satakore release (equivalent to Nintendo's "Players Choice" releases), they released Falcom Classics Collection instead of a Satakore release of Falcom Classics II.

It is just a 2-disc set with Falcom Classics I and Falcom Classics II. The bonus discs from FC1 LE and FC2 LE are not included.

I've got an info page (including screenshots) about Falcom Classics II on my website. www.digitalsloth.net/ys.

DVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: ! Sir, the door was open.

Speaking of rare Saturn games, has anyone come accross an original or ISO of "The Return To Zork" for Japense Sega Saturn  ;D Too bad I lost a lot of work I did on a translation FAQ of "Zork I - The Underground Empire" for Saturn that was on my laptop that died, but I may still have my hand written notes on it... somewhere.

=D Thanks once again Seldane! But ya know... T.T  I have just paid $80 for the Falcom Classics Collection when I could simply spend $20!! xD lol, I'm really unlucky. =(

^^I also looked at your website! (Maybe I should join your forum =D) ...=/ They could have included the FC1 and FC2's Limited Edition Bonus CDs in FCC...

Anyway, I bought it here----> http://www.gamechoiceclub.com/  Though this site is "a little" expensive, it has some interesting products.

Maybe there you could find this game. It has a ton of Sega Saturn games, so take a look at the Saturn section. =)

EDIT:(a little offtopic) That 'Ys II Special' which you speak in your website,...T.T  I couldn't find a download link anywhere in the web...xD...so if you know any download link for it, I would appreciate.  ;D

Wow... 80 dollars, that's quite a lot. Well, let me comfort you by saying it doesn't appear that often on Yahoo Japan and it sort of requires using a proxy service (such as www.shoppingmalljapan.com) which will add additional costs. It would probably end up at about $40 in the end.

Oh yes, Ys II Special... I've been meaning to add a download link to that page. I'll do that eventually. :)

Well RETURN TO ZORK on the saturn isn't really a rare title as such.  An internet shop I have been using here in Japan has it for 990yen so if you find it dont pay too much for it!

Thanks for the heads up on that game_hunter. Really I had not tried to go looking for this game for quite some time. I see it here http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-l9-49-en-86-1-70-1cc4.html for about 15$. I think I may purchase...

EDIT: In my search I've come across a release I didn't know existed! There was a "Zork Collection" released that contains both Zork games released for saturn :|

EDIT: Anyone ordered from http://www.yamatoku.jp this place before? I can get BOTH titles zork I and RTZ (my copy of Zork 1 is a CDR :| ) very cheap used from Japan.

I have used Yamatoku MANY times both through evilbay and their website, they are great sellers and very reliable.

Ah, thanks for advice! They seemed cool when I checked them out. Kind of chuckled to myself when I saw their reflection in the mirror of the black RTZ case holding a camera. Will order next week ;)

Hmm well maybe not. Placed my order, went to get my International Postal Money Order today from my local post office and asked to be sure the funds are transferred to the "Tokyo Postal Saving Center" (as the "how to order" section said) she said she didn't know what I was talking about. Damn it.

EDIT:  It's all good, I'll just borrow my sis's PayPal account heh ;)

UPDATE: Just came in the mail the other day and picked up from PO. Excellent packing, not a scratch on these used discs... I'm totally stoked to own both Return to Zork and Zork I for Sega Saturn now :)

Perhaps a revamp of my translation of Zork I will be in order one day... hmmmm

Thank you very much for the recommendation Game_Hunter. I now recommend them to the rest of you. Very friendly staff which understood all my English emails and great end result!
