Does anyone have a english patch for Ys 6 Ark of Napishtim?

I know NightWolve is working on the Felghana patch so I though there was Napishtim full english patch already made.  Thank you.

Oh so thats what is happening.  Well I have the full korean patch to use so its no big deal but I would like it better in english.

Currently, if you click on the Ys VI link you get nothing because it's not ready at this point, but it is a project I intend to finish some time next year. You will get news items as well when that happens. It's not like I'll keep it a secret. The translation news sites like romhacking.net will report it as well, so...

There is an unfinished patch that I've shared with only a few trusted friends/colleagues, but I was in the middle of comparing the script to Konami's work. I will probably share that with general donaters some time in the future first, but not right now. It's just too much Work-In-Progress and I'm gonna get a lot of feedback with faulty script dialogue. In the meantime, you can use an early demo patch I made long time ago that makes the game work without Jap support and translates your items to English:

It does makes the Config utility fully English, so it's useful for that. The thing is though it changes the font mode to ASCII from S-JIS, so all the Japanese throughout the game will appear as garbage.

When the Ark patch comes about which version will it be available for?  Limited Edition with 1 difficulty or the other versions with Hard, Nightmae, Time Attack, yada yada.

Both. There is slightly more script added on with the newer version, but I got that all in. It wasn't too terribly difficult to make it work for both, so whatever version you got, no problem. It will also update you correctly depending on the version you got. You've already seen how that works with Felghana and the 1203VE.zip file. This will either obtain the 1.1.0.8 patch for your LE copy or 1.2.0.1 if you have the newer standard edition.

I don't force you into installing the latest in this case, which may or may not change in the end. I prompt you with a Yes/No box first. The thing is I set the hooks up with my hacking system so it could work with every version, partly because like with 1.1.0.6, there is a cheater available and only works for that version which was useful during the early stages of hacking. With Felghana, it does in fact still work with version 1.0.0.0 of the executable, the first one that comes with the game, but it's easier for me if I just make it work for one particular version. But, the advantage is if some future version of Falcom's patch is released and I don't force you into one version, it might just work without having to wait for me to update my patcher, etc.

I have the limited edition which blows cause normal difficulty isnt much of a challenge for me.  Thats cool that the patch can be applied to any of the versions.  I wanna just go ahead and grab a newer edition with more difficulties.

I just started playing the Y's series, i've played the PS2 game Y's VI, what an awsome game!

I'll try the I&II along your patch, now im trying to play Origins, fantastic game!

I've just downloaded the walktrough at gamefaqs msg board and the doubts i had were answered.

I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate you Nightwolve for your great work.

I know you do because you're a fan, but with this you're encouraging many ppl ( like me :P ) to play all others y's games.

I really like to try and give a donation to you website but last time i used paypal i got my acc hacked and spent 6 months dealing with my cc. adm. to clean all the mess they did to my bills.

Now i'm really afraid to use it again. But im planning to make a new cc with a very low credit line to try this kind of things.
 
Thanks and i'm really anxious about your furute works. Im even not talking about an Y's Origin patch that you're thinking to start someday that i've heard at Gamespot forums. OH NO! SORRY i just got too excited and forgot to not to say. EHEH
