In dedication of XSEED Games and the WyrdWad KKK Witch era, we present Jeff "DeuceBag" Nussbaum in his own words:

Why, if I didn't know any better, I'd say Psycho Jeff is involving/attacking innocent families of neo-geo.com fans he wants to see die and help kill [painfully]!! Remember how a defining part of the WyrdWad era was equating targets to Hitler/Nazis ? Isn't this rant a Nazi eugenicist speech ? The "superior" fat, bald, cock-flasher says certain people AND their offspring need to be eliminated for being inferior, who represent a "pollution" of the human gene pool... It sure sounds like a Nazi speech to me by Jeff here, am I wrong XSEED fans/shills ?? Looking at you, DigitalEmelas! I mean, if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, ya know ?? What do I know right? Everybody's ignoring it and other XSEED embarrassments...

Not the first time either: when one of his bosses fired him (shock!), he not only wanted him dead but implied his kids must be as horribly ugly as he is! He didn't think anyone would read his blog, but like omgfloofy says, "Know your translator..." I was also added to his kill-list when I trolled him on Kotaku's KKK Witches article (he wants me to die by an acid bath)... Another funny anecdote: while there are ambulance-chasers, Bankruptcy Jeff falls under the rare ambulance-crasher category, haha! Imagine being condemned, defamed, lied about by a complete psychotic mess of a manchild after massively cheating you who turns out was deflecting from deep mental problems & his own PR liabilities! This unhinged hypocrite bigoted bastard showing up from neo-geo.com in my forums/projects to get up on his high horse to smear me as an "embarassment" had A LOT of fucking nerve! BURN IN HELL!!

So...I finally figured out why all of XSEED/WyrdWad's friends can be credited for just about anything (including Ys Celceta DVD piracy) but I cannot (they have VERY high standards for people of good/moral character, you see):
While you are NOT credit-worthy, bold/bald/fat homicidal cock-flashers & wyrdwad pedophiles ARE 'acceptable' for being credited on XSEED Games' localizations...

Hey Nightwolve, figured I would stop freeloading and make a donation. The one coming from masterironfist is from me. No one produces quality translation patches the way you do. Keep up the good work and treat yourself to something shiny on me.

NightWolve..Made a donation today. Hopefully it helps knowing there is one more person out there who appreciates all of the work you do. Let me know you got it ok.

FYI, regarding the last comment, I'll fill in the blanks later in an announcement when the patch goes public. So, just wait till then.

Sent by NightWolve on Feb. 13, 2007, 11:48:46 PM[ Delete ]

Thanks Warkid. I should make it clear though that those are tentative plans, meaning it may or may not work out that way in the end. I am gonna be taking a long break after I finish the Felghana patch as I said.

I'm starting to think the leak incident actually may have been a blessing in disguise. The truth is I've lost a lot interest in continuing this fan translation hobby due to this leaker. I can't lie about that. So, I'm gonna take a much longer break than I had planned as a result. That means I'll have more time to take care of more important things like finishing up a renovation job I've been doing and salvaging my IT career. So, you best enjoy that Felghana patch when it's all finished up, cause it's gonna be the last of its kind for quite some time.

hey nightwolf... in regards to your current top anouncement. I would gladly pay for anything someone puts hard work into that I have intrest in using myself. I would hope everyone else would as well. If ys VI patch gets compleeted I dont want it free. We all shouldnt free load on your skills and works as they are of a quality most " unpaid " translators would not take the time to do.

Those are some of the top NES games you listed and I beat almost all of 'em, cept for Destiny of Emperor. Still, there is the process of how you grow out of the older systems as the new ones arrive and you later adapt to them. So, I do find it surprising there are folks that can still go back that far and play them, provided that they went through the same process (started with NES in their youth, then SNES, then moved to PS1/2, XBOX, Dreamcast, etc. as they got older). If you're just starting out with NES and it's all you know, it's more understandable then. I didn't like it happening to me, honestly, but it just did. There are select titles I can handle, but I have to force myself into it even for SNES.

Oops, sorry, got a little long-winded - had a mini wall o' text at the top. There, much better.

I've not played any 'next-gen' systems as of yet (PS3/360/Wii), but I'll still play some older games. I generally don't go pre-NES unless I'm feeling nostalgic or something. But, NES, you still got the old Dragon Warrior games, Zelda I *and* II, Destiny of an Emperor, Magic of Scheherazade, Jackal (had a lot of fun 2-player with this as a kid), Willow (a movie-based game that was actually fairly good), Guardian Legend, Crystalis, Bionic Commando. Lots of fun games. And hell, some SNES games have better graphics than some PS1 games. *shrug* Sure, newer games have better graphics, but that doesn't detract any from older games for me.

hmm... seems to me that atari, coleco, and intellivision make great for entertainment center decorations... other then that 5mins of play and that is all that can be taken for numerous months to years...

Tisk Tisk, i STILL play Atari and enjoy it, even after playing PS2, Gamecube, and even after playing PS3. The Classics have this "Genuine" Feeling to them, im not sure what exacly it is but i still enjoy it.

P.S I actually have a working Atari Console. WORKING too Grin

I can't touch anything on there. Same thing happened with SNES a couple of years ago, too. Exposure to next generation systems being the cause and all that. Oh and uh, I wasn't at all talking about Kitsune with my last comment. Wink

Sent by zaratus on Feb. 04, 2007, 03:21:57 PM[ Delete ]

There's some rather good NES games that we missed out on however. And I'll still play through some of my old favorites for sure. Though, I won't touch my actual old NES, much better playing the games on an emulator, especially with that fast forward button.

Seriously, who's gonna play a NES game in this day in age, Ys or otherwise? Bah... Even I don't like Ys that much... It also confounds my mind that there are still romhackers for NES games to begin with...

I did Ys III for Famicom/NES as well... ;P

So once Origin is done, I will truly have had a hand in the translation of every single game in the series. Now get me that script while I'm still hyped.
